I have had a few people ask me about this DVD, but I never gotten around to actually picking it up. It was sold out in the stores every time I remembered, so I figured I’d better order it.
As with most major new-release DVDs, I try and make sure that there are no issues with the conversion, so today, I picked up War Horse, and ran it through its paces.
The UPS guy just dropped off The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo bluray dvd combo box, so I ran it through its paces:
The Adventures of Tin Tin has the 99track issue. In order to convert this movie properly, and with the scenes in the correct order, you will have to determine the correct track to use.
Personally I prefer the original better, but I had someone ask me regarding the Footloose remake earlier today, so I ran it through its paces with DVD Catalyst 4.
As part of my preparation for the new iPad3, which should be here this friday, I am continuing my testrun of a few movies. Eventhough I am using the iPad3 profile in DVD Catalyst 4 (iPad3 HQXT to be exact), the format itself is compatible with just about all Android and Apple devices out there, so it [...]
With the iPad3 underway (I just got the notification that it should be here on the 16th) I figured I’d run some tests with the iPad3 HQXT profile in DVD Catalyst 4, so that by the end of the week, I have a nice collection of movies to transfer over. First one, Immortals, released only [...]
A while ago, someone reported a complication with From Dusk Till Dawn. The R1 version of this movie converts without issues, but the R2 (Europe, Netherlands) version is a bit tricky. Earlier today, I ran the Dutch DVD version of From Dusk Till Dawn through the latest version of DVD Catalyst 4 (v4.1.4.2):
Earlier this week, someone reported complications with this particular DVD, so I picked it up and ran it through its paces.

I picked this up a few weeks ago at the store. Since Disney movies tend to be a bit more picky than others, I figured I’d run it through DVD Catalyst 4, and see how it goes.
Hugo is a little picky, but by selecting the correct track, the movie can be converted with DVD Catalyst without any complications.
This week I have been putting some video-time on the PS Vita, and tonight I’m watching one of my favorite movies, Black Hawk Down on it. Because I get a lot of questions from people what I recommend for settings, I figured I’d write this small article on the settings I used for converting BHD.
Earlier today I had someone ask about this movie, so I used DVD Catalyst 4 to convert it to NOOKcolor format.
Earlier today, I ran the DVD version of Puss In Boots through its paces, but since I picked up the Bluray+DVD+(useless)Digital Copy combo version, I figured I’d better run the Bluray version through its paces as well.
Puss in Boots just came out on DVD and Bluray, and of course, this is the perfect movie to have with you on the Go. This article will take you through the steps of how to convert the Puss In Boots movie with DVD Catalyst 4 for the NOOKtablet, as well as just about every [...]
