Because the Kindle Fire is designed to integrate with Amazon’s video service, accessing your own video files is a bit of a pain. As with all Android Tablets, you are basically stuck using the limited “Gallery” app, which doesn’t display filenames, or use a file-browser to access the files.
DVD Catalyst 4 has profiles for the Kindle Fire, enabling you to quickly and easily convert your own movies for it.
