Finally after a couple of weeks of playing with it, here is my own review of the NOOKtablet.
Finally after a couple of weeks of playing with it, here is my own review of the NOOKtablet.
As of today you can update to the long-awaited 1.4.1 update for the NOOKcolor. This update, often referred to as the “multimedia update” adds, among many fixes, support for media services such as Netflix and more.
Thank you for reading DVD Catalyst Newsletter 33, Quite the week this time. After somewhat of a drought regarding new releases, this week made up for it. With “The Hangover 2″, “Cowboys vs Aliens”, “The Help” and “Mr Popper’s Penguins” all being released on Tuesday, movie lovers like me had a hay-day.
Since I did pick up the Bluray + DVD combo pack of The Hangover 2, I figured I might as well run the Bluray through its paces. Because this week I’ve been using the NOOKtablet as my main tablet, I selected one of theĀ NOOKtablet profiles. Here is what I did:
The 4th one of today, and again no complications. It seems it’s a normal-dvd day today. No reports on this one either, but I find it better to try the DVDs beforehand rather than getting emailed to death about one, so I ran it through DVD Catalyst 4 as well:
A lot of new-release movies today No reports of complications with Cowboys and Aliens, but I figured I’d give it a run regardless. Its the 3rd one I did today (The Hangover 2, The Help) and all 3 worked without any complications or needed any settings-changes
Earlier today someone reported complications with “The Help” on DVD.
Brand new, and no complications with DVD Catalyst 4 whatsoever
The Bluray version of Friends with Benefits, as mentioned here: http://www.tools4movies.com/2011/12/friends-benefits-dvd/
A new release movie. I haven’t had anyone report any complications with it, but the wife picked it up, so I figured I’d “borrow” it for a bit to make sure it would work with DVD Catalyst 4:
