Similar as Transformers 3 Dark of the Moon, Captain America also has 99 reported DVD tracks. In order to convert this movie with the best possible quality, please have a look at the following guide:
Before you start DVD Catalyst 4, just play the DVD in a real DVD player or in a DVD player program on your computer, such as Windows Media Player or VLC. Work yourself through the menu so you get to the actual movie, and just skip ahead a bit. I usually skip to the middle to make sure.
At the top left, you will see the track number for the movie. It alternates between scene number and track number.
Now close Windows Media Player (or whatever other DVD Player program you used) and start DVD Catalyst 4.
Make sure you are using the latest version (currently 4.1.0.2) by tapping on the cat-eyes in the program.
After scanning the DVD, because of the 99 tracks, DVD Catalyst will bring up the track selection dialog. Here uncheck the one that DVD Catalyst has selected for you, and enable the checkmark for the track you found previously:
and click OK to have it scan the track. Then make changes to settings if you desire, and tap Go to start the conversion:
After the conversion is complete, you will have a nice looking video file that will play great on your selected device.
For the conversion I used the default Xoom profile in DVD Catalyst 4 v4.1.0.2, and the created (h264) mp4 video file ended up 1.4GB in size.
