The Droid X is capable of playing H264 formatted MP4 video files with a resolution of 1280×720 using the build-in :Gallery” app

Download and extract zip file on your computer.
Connect your Droid X to your computer and make sure it is mounted as “USB Mass Storage”
Copy MP4 file from the zip to your DroidX
After copying the file over, disconnect it from your computer and open Gallery to play the file.
If you have the HDMI cable, you can play the file on your TV.
