Quite simple, because we build it for one reason alone. Before there was DVD Catalyst, we were looking for a way to convert our existing movie collection to a format that could be played on our Windows Mobile Pocket PC. After trying a variety of programs, including trials and purchased versions, we continuously ran into either problems, or lack of options we needed to make things right for us. This is what we guarantee, however, we usually respond within minutes, or when we sleep, the longest wait might be 8 hours. * Multi-, Movie-, and TV- DVD, Video File conversions, Batch. One of the main things all similar products lack is support for multiple DVD drives, or an easy way to convert multiple video files. DVD Catalyst uses a method we call “Transparent Batch”. This means that it always uses a batch conversion method, but you hardly notice. If you want to convert a Movie DVD or a TV DVD, or have multiple DVD drives, and have DVDs in all of them, DVD Catalyst will find all the movies/episodes, and queue them up for conversion. If you have a couple of video files, just drag the files, or the folder containing them, onto DVD Catalyst, and they will be queued up for conversion as well Just add what you want, select your device, and thats it. Similar products require you to manually add a DVD or a Video file. Many of them require you to start the program for each individual TV episode, DVD Catalyst enables you to add as many as you want, and converts it all with 1 click.

So 6 steps before a conversion starts (some even more than 10), every time clicking “Next”, and then after the conversion start again. Imagine doing that for 10 movies. thats 60 clicks. Now imagine doing it for a folder with 100 TV episode video files, 6000 clicks, and worst of all, you have to wait for a conversion to finish before you can start again.
