I’ve tried them all… this is the one!

Divx or Windows Media? You decide. Other “Media to PPC” programs only gave me one choice or limited options on how to encode. mMedia not only gives me a multitude of choices for encoding, but the audio/video quality blows away the others I’ve tried.. I’ve fit several 1.5 to 2 hour movies onto a 128 mb memory card and have been extremely happy with the quality. I can also split the movie into smaller parts by simply checking a box if need be. Another great feature is that it will keep a 600-700 MB Divx versions of the movie along with the smaller PPC version. This way I can keep the bigger version to play on my laptop or desktop and have the smaller version for PPC playback. One of my favorite things about it is that it’s not only for converting DVD’s to PPC, but any random video file you may have on your computer.. The 2 programs included in the package will do it all! The title of my review says it all.. After trying all of the apps out there to get my movies onto my ppc, mMedia has them all beat by far in terms of quality, configurable options, and ease of use with built-in profiles for various PPC devices. Oh yeah, it’s also cheaper than the others.. Very highly recommended
Note, the review posted is for mMedia (mDVD / mVideo) which later became PocketDVD (and PocketVideo) and both are predecessors to DVD Catalyst.
